FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology. Disclosed is a haptic component of a composite intraocular lens, comprising a base for an optical part, monolithically connected to two opposite support elements, wherein the support elements have a rectangular cross-section, and the base for the optical part is a flat ring with an outer and inner edge, which comprises a bead along the outer edge, and in the area of each support element it contains a U-shaped slot formed by a radial projection extending from the side to the centre parallel to the ring plane and overlapping the inner edge of the ring.
EFFECT: reduced labour intensity of haptic component manufacturing with possibility of use in adult patients, increased convenience of operation.
