CHANGEABLE INTRAOCULAR LENS AND DEVICE FOR ITS FIXATION Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61F2/14

Abstract RU 2444328 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medical equipment. Intraocular lens (IOL) contains optical and haptical parts. Haptical part consists of flat solid ring-shaped bearing element, adjacent to front surface of optical part and flat disc-shaped bearing element, adjacent to back surface of optical part and separated at distance of 0.8-2 mm from optical part on three similar petals, radially placed, at equal distance from each other. Bearing elements lie in planes, which are parallel to main lens plane. Diameter of bearing element, adjacent to front surface of optical part, is less than diameter of bearing element, adjacent to back surface of optical part. Elastic ring is made with bends in opposite segments, which form similar loops, directed inside ring, and witch contain element for IOL fixation. Loops go beyond its center. Longitudinal axes of loops or their projections on ring plane coincide with axis, which connects places of transition of ring bends into loops. Parts of loops between tops and places of their crossing with each other form concentric to ring element for IOL fixation. Bearing element of lesser diameter is placed on front surface of element for IOL fixation, and bearing element of greater diameter is placed on back surface of element for IOL fixation.

EFFECT: application of claimed group of inventions will make it possible to achieve maximally possible visual functions, due to replaceable IOL made with possibility of its postponed implantation and/or replacement and stabilisation of capsule sac in cases of defect of crystalline lens joint apparatus and possibility of IOL fixation in ciliary furrow in absence of capsule sac, as well as due to simplification of surgical technique of IOL placement in device for it fixation and possibility of independent centering of IOL.
