FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: swing-check gate contains a body with a seat and a locking element mounted rotationally movable on an axis, rigidly fixed in the body. In this case, the contact surface of the seat is made in the form of a depression, and the contact surface of the locking element is designed as a protrusion that is made to cover the cavity with the formation of an internal annular gap and an outer annular gap concentrically arranged relative to one another for throttling the damping fluid, and the total cross-section area is much less than the area of the contact surface, at that the cavity and the protrusion have an annular shape. In this case, a transported medium is used as the damping fluid. A version of the swing-check gate is also provided, in which the contact surface of the seat is designed as a protrusion, and the contact surface of the locking element is made in the form of a depression.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the swing-check gate design, reduce the metal capacity of the product, increase the service life, eliminate the need for a damper made in the form of special device to eliminate impact loads at the time of closing.
