FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: biocompatible component intended for implantation into a living tissue that has a surface intended for contact with a living tissue is characterized by the surface containing metal oxide particles, the said particles having an average particle size less than 25 nm, wherein the particles have a distribution by particle size of up to 40%, obtained by means of a scanning particles mobility meter with electrospray (ES-SMPS), wherein the particles form a nanoporous layer and the particles are evenly distributed throughout the said layer.
EFFECT: biocompatible component can induce early formation of hydroxyapatite crystallization nuclei in vivo and thereby contribute to implant osseointegration.
