FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely, a dental implant intended for implantation, at least partially, into living tissue in a human body; to a method for producing said implant and a method for implantation thereof. Proposed dental implant comprises a non-bioabsorbable base having a surface intended for contact with living tissue, wherein said surface including bismuth oxide nanoparticles having an average size of 500 nm or less. In accordance with the proposed method for producing a dental implant, bismuth oxide nanoparticles with a size of 500 nm or less are dispersed in a solvent to obtain a dispersion of said nanoparticles, which is applied to the surface of the non-bioabsorbable base.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the effective suppression of bacterial growth, long-term antibacterial effect and absence of biofilm formation.
