FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: method for determination of microorganisms adhesion to the epithelial cells of the oral mucosa and NEr 2 cell line includes material taking, obtaining of a cell suspension with a concentration of 2×106 cells/ml, determined on a densitometer, mixing of 0.1 ml of the resulting cell suspension with 0.1 ml of a bacterial suspension with a concentration of 2×109 cells/ml, incubation for 30 minutes at 37°C, after incubation, the mixture is washed three times with buffered saline at 600 rpm for 10 minutes, then the supernatant is removed from the precipitate and smears are made on the glass, fixed in the flame for 2-3 seconds and stained as per Gram, the average number of adsorbed microorganisms - the average adhesion index is calculated under a microscope, having conducted at least three experiments, and the degree of adhesion 0 to 1.9 - is considered low-adhesive, 2 to 4.9 - medium-adhesive, more than 5 - highly adhesive, provided that epithelial cells taking from the oral mucosa is performed with a medical brush after preliminary rinsing with an antiseptic solution of chitosan based on "Абисиб".
