SCRUBBER Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B01D47/06

Abstract RU 2630110 C1

FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: scrubber contains a housing with a grate installed in it, a device for introducing gas into the sublattice space, a grid supply device for the grate, a drift eliminator, a cleaned gas discharge device, and a liquid discharge device. It is new that the device for introducing gas into the sublattice space is provided with a tangential gas supply pipe (3). The grate (2) is in the form of a ring with the possibility of creating a vortex gas-liquid flow with adjustable parameters, which casts liquid with solid particles to the cylindrical walls of the housing (1). Above the grate, a ring (6) is installed on the inner surface to drain liquid from the walls, and outside the housing (1) is provided with nozzles (7) installed at different height to divert liquid and to separate the trapped material. The drift eliminator is integrated into the upper part of the housing and is in the form of a one and a half (8) surrounding the gas outlet (9) located with the lower part lowered into the housing, which is outside the fluid guide returning from the one and a half (8) into the gas-liquid flow. The liquid supply device (4) on the grate is configured for central feeding and is provided with a bowl reflector (5) mounted in the central opening of the annular grid with a cone. The grid (2) is formed by coaxially arranged rings (11, 12, 13, 14) connected to each other and the blades (15, 16, 17, 18, 19) fixed to the rings and forming a grid surface. The blades are made in the form of sectors with dimensions corresponding to the rings, on which they are fixed. When the blades are tilted toward the base grid and are lapped and, in the overlapping area between the blades slotted holes (20) are formed, creating a "living section" to expedite gas, change the direction of its movement, tangential disruption of the flowing water and the formation of the vortex gas-liquid flow.

EFFECT: decreasing the resistance, increasing the throughput and decreasing the dimensions of the scrubber.
