FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and specifically to methods of processing carbon-containing material, including wastes, with production of valuable chemical products, as well as energy. Method involves oxidation of the initial material, which is carried out by contacting the starting material with oxidised melt. Melt represents melt containing higher oxides of catalytically active metals. As a result, products of oxidation of initial raw material and reduced melt are formed. Reduced melt is a melt containing lower oxides of catalytically active metals. Oxidative regeneration of the reduced melt is performed, which is carried out by contacting the reduced melt with a gaseous oxidant, with reverse formation of oxidised melt and gaseous products of oxidative regeneration. Oxidation of the starting material and oxidative regeneration of the reduced melt are carried out in separate reaction zones and circulation of oxidised and reduced melts between these zones is provided. Oxidative regeneration of the reduced melt is carried out in two separate oxidation reaction zones, oxidative regeneration of the reduced melt with water vapor is carried out in one oxidative reaction zone to obtain hydrogen and in another oxidative reaction zone, oxidative regeneration of the reduced melt with oxygen-containing gas, including air, is performed to obtain heat energy.
EFFECT: technical result is continuity and high efficiency of the process; high process flexibility and energy balance of the process; high reliability and safety of the method.
