FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing valuable chemical products and energy from carbon-containing material, involving oxidation of feedstock, which is carried out by contacting at least in one reactor of initial material with oxidised melt, the latter is a melt containing higher oxides of catalytically active metals, wherein result are formed products of oxidation of initial raw material and reduced melt, the latter is a melt containing lower oxides of catalytically active metals, as well as oxidative regeneration of reduced melt, which is carried out by contacting reduced melt with gaseous oxidant, with reverse formation of oxidised melt and gaseous products of oxidative regeneration. Method is characterized in that oxidative regeneration of reduced melt is carried out in two steps, at the first stage, oxidative regeneration of the reduced melt is carried out with water steam to produce hydrogen, and at the second stage—with oxygen-containing gas, including air, with obtaining of heat energy.

EFFECT: technical effect consists in widening the range of technologies for sustainable development; in ensuring continuity and high efficiency of the process; in high process flexibility and energy balance of process; high reliability and safety of the method.
