FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: non-aqueous composition for teeth cleaning comprises a bioactive glass in an amount of 1 to 10 wt % of the composition and a carrier comprising: a carbomer as a thickener in an amount of 0.3 to 1 wt % of the composition; solvents for the composition, being 50 to 70 wt % of the composition and polyethylene glycol in an amount of 15 to 25 wt % of the composition; and a surfactant system consisting of the first surfactant and the second surfactant, wherein the first surfactant is n-alkylamidobetaine, namely cocamidopropyl betaine, in an amount of 0.05 to 4 wt % of the composition; and the second surfactant is sodium methyl cocoyl taurate in an amount of 0.5 to 2 wt % of the composition; or a C10-20 alkyl sulfate surfactant, namely sodium lauryl sulfate, in an amount of 0.5 to 2 wt % of the composition.
EFFECT: composition content provides a combination of bioactive glass properties with high organoleptic characteristics of toothpaste.
