FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: to manufacture high-disperse hydrophobic magnetosensitive clay materials, a slurry of clay materials is prepared by mechanical stirring in water in the reactor. Salts of bivalent and trivalent iron and cationic surfactants are added to the reactor by stirring. Ultrasonic dispersing the resulting slurry is performed in the reactor, and an alkali solution is added to the reactor by stirring. Magnetic separation and purification of the resulting modified clay is carried out in a magnetic separator. The resulting modified clay is dried.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the production of high-disperse hydrophobic magnetosensitive clay materials for the production of polymer composite materials with improved gas and vapour permeability characteristics.
