FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a housing, a constant current source, a casing with an anode fixed therein and an electrolysis bath. The housing is divided into two insulated parts - the lower one and the upper one, wherein the lower part is equipped with a cover with a gasket and two openings on the side wall of the housing for the coolant input and output, a sample is arranged on the bottom of the upper part of the housing, on which a demountable electrolysis bath with a removable bottom is mounted. The bath bottom is connected to the sample through an elastic gasket. In the bath bottom and the gasket, openings are made, congruent to the sample section, on which the metal is locally applied. A stirrer is immersed in the demountable bath, the shaft of which is inserted into the casing. The bath has an annular ledge on the outer wall and is fixed by a clamping nut to tighten the connection of the bath bottom to the plate. The inner diameter of the clamping nut corresponds to the diameter of the upper part of the bath, and the thread on the outside of the clamping nut corresponds to the thread on the inside of the upper part of the casing. The upper part of the housing is equipped with two openings arranged on the side wall of the housing - an opening for gas input and an opening for supplying current to the sample that is a cathode.

EFFECT: creating a reliable, compact, airtight device providing the ability of applying local metal coatings to individual sections of a side or a face of flat samples, including those having a small thickness or brittle.
