FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of power source, and of bath with orifice in its wall overlapped with elastic insertion for pressure tight fixation of samples of materials coated on one side or on facet of similar or various shapes. Further, the device consists of a cover with a metal plate -anode secured in the cover, and with a cathode corresponding to each coated sample. Also each of them is arranged in a through slot congruent to its shape. The slot is cut in the elastic insertion pressure tight overlapping the orifice of the bath from outside. The insertion is fixed with fixture elements of a frame. The frame tightly presses the elastic insertion to the wall of the bath beyond orifice borders completely closing the orifice. Notably, number of orifices in the elastic insertion corresponds to number of covered samples. In the body of the insertion there is arranged at least one, preferably, several current distributors from current source. An end part of each current distributor is brought outside in the zone of the slot thus bringing the elastic insertion to external surface.

EFFECT: reliable, compact, pressure tight and inexpensive device facilitating simultaneous local application of metal coating on separate sides of facets of samples of coated materials of various shapes avoiding additional current losses and electrolyte exhaust.
