FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: roller screw mechanism (RSM) contains a multistart lead screw with screw thread, a nut with inner ring thread, satellite rollers with threaded engagements in the separator evenly installed around the circumference in the space between the screw and the nut. The satellite rollers are made in the form of revolution bodies with two edge and one central zones, with the edge zones provided with the same diameter and larger than the diameter of their central zone. The internal ring thread of the nut is made only in the zones conjugated with the edge zones of the satellite rolls, also made with a ring thread. The central zone of satellite rollers is made in the form of smooth cylinder, which diameter is smaller than the diameter of ring thread grooves of their edge zones. The separator is installed inside the nut and is made in the form of hollow cylinder with longitudinal grooves on its inner surface. The nut is made of two half-nuts installed with the possibility to change and fix the axial clearance therebetween.
