FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in the device and method of self-sensitive ultrasonic motor control, the speed (rotation) control of the ultrasonic motor (USM) is controlled by adjusting the frequency of the control signal using the feedback signal obtained from the piezoelectric elements of the USM that perform the function of the primary converter with the help of a secondary converter, made on an optocoupler with a resistive output element. The control method of the self-sensitive ultrasonic motor allows using the piezoelectric elements of the self-sensitive USM as a feedback source to adjust the frequency of the control signals, which increases the efficiency of the USM under changing the climatic conditions and loading forces.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced weight and dimensions of the device, increased reliability, manufacturability, reduced complexity of the device manufacturing.
