FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: organic LED microdisplay includes a carrier substrate made in the form of a transparent substrate, inside which a transparent anode, a light reflecting cathode and a set of layers of organic substances placed between them are hermetically sealed, consisting of, at least, a transparent layer of hole transport, an emission layer containing organic substances for emission of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) colors, an electron transport layer. The anode, cathode and layers of organic substances are made in the form of hollow cubes coaxially inserted into each other. The organic layers and the anode layer are divided into light-emitting RGB-segments horizontally and vertically, forming a screen consisting of four side surfaces of the cube containing m rows and n columns.
EFFECT: expanding the information and functionality of the organic LED microdisplay, as well as increasing its efficiency.
