FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: composite material for producing a bullet-proof article comprises at least two linen layers containing fibers with high tensile strength and at least one polyvinyl butyral film. The polyvinyl butyral film has a thickness from 30 to 70 mcm. Another subject of the present invention is a bullet-proof article which is made of a composite material.
EFFECT: production of a composite material which provides increase in bullet-proof properties of articles made of it.
