SUBSTANCE: system contains data collection and transfer units fixed on the span wire sections and the overhead line directly behind the sheave wheel of the freight-compensating device and/or over bunch of freight of freight-compensating devices that are placed on the anchor supports of the overhead system and/or on the midpoint anchoring cables. The data collection and transfer unit connected to the force sensor comprises a self-contained power supply, a microprocessor device, a radio communication device between the unit and an intervening data hub located at a central railwaystation. An external cable is used to connect the sensor to the data collection unit.

EFFECT: increase the objectivity of evaluation of a wire tension force condition and cables of a railway overhead system.
