FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power industry. Method of plasma-coal kindling of coal-fired boiler and flame stabilization includes supply of portion of coal-dust air-fuel mixture to be provided to the burner to the stage 1 of thermochemical preparation chamber (TCP chamber). Method also includes generation of low-temperature plasma in plasmatron, plasma jetting at TCP chamber inlet of stage 1 and jet ignition with plasma. Fuel mixture is produced in stage 1 of TCP chamber as a result of part of coil burning and air-fuel mixture heating until volatile components are released from coal and partial gasification of coke residue. Produced fuel mixture is then supplied to stage 2 of TCP stage. Remaining part of air fuel mixture is also supplied to stage 2 of TCP chamber, ignited by the fuel mixture and heated until volatile components are released and coke residue is subjected to partial gasification as a result of partial burning of coal. Finally, fuel mixture is produced from all amount of air-fuel mixture supplied to the burner. Produced fuel mixture is supplied from plasma-coal burner to boiler furnace generating burning flame. Air-fuel mixture is supplied to stage 2 of TCP chamber with oxygen content enough for its 8-10% concentration in the mixture with gases from stage 1 of TCP chamber. Invention allows for avoiding slagging in stage 2 of TCP chamber and ensuring reliable and non-stop kindling of boiler or flame supporting without use of the second type of fuel.

EFFECT: avoidance of TCP chamber stage 2 slagging and ensuring reliable and non-stop kindling of boiler.
