FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: rigid polyurethane foam is prepared by convertion of A) organic or modified organic polyisocyanates or mixtures thereof, B) one or more polyether polyols, D) if necessary, polyether polyols, E) if necessary, flame retardants, F) of one or more foaming agents, G) catalysts and H) if necessary, other auxiliary components and/or additives. The said component B) is the product of transformation of a1) 15 to 40 wt % of one or more polyols with average functionality of 2.5 to 8, a2) 2 to 30 wt % of one or more fatty acids and/or one or more monoesters of fatty acids and a3) 35 to 70 wt % of propylene oxide.
EFFECT: polyol component used for production of rigid polyurethane foams is characterized by high solubility of physical faoming agent therein, phase stability, including in case of composition changes, and low viscosity, and the resulting rigid polyurethane foams have a significantly improved cure rate.
