FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: acoustic structure contains a partition having an acoustic hole that defines an open area that changes in response to changes in the velocity of the noise-containing medium passing through the acoustic hole. The partition contains a fixed area and movable leaf areas. The fixed portion, the wing portion, includes surfaces that define an acoustic opening through the partition. The acoustic hole has an open area that changes due to the movement of the movable flap in response to changes in the velocity of the noise-containing medium that passes through the acoustic hole. The resulting barrier has a relatively low coefficient of nonlinearity. The partition is made inside the honeycomb, with the winged sections forming a regular polygon. The noise cancellation device can be used in a gondola aircraft engine. The partition can be made of a flexible material - polyamide, polystyrene.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of noise absorption and reducing the coefficient of nonlinearity.
