FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: noise-absorbing structure comprises a honeycomb structure, thermal baffle and noise-absorbing material. The honeycomb structure comprises the first edge which is positioned closest to the high-temperature region and the second edge, and also contains a cell bounded by a plurality of walls extending between the first and the second edges. The thermal baffle is positioned inside the honeycomb structure cell adjacent to the first edge of the latter. The noise-absorbing material is positioned inside the honeycomb structure cell between the thermal baffle and the second edge. The thermal baffle is positioned in the honeycomb structure cell adjacent to the first edge of the latter, and the noise-absorbing material is positioned inside the honecomb structure cell between the thermal baffle and its second edge. Other inventions of the set relate to versions of the jet engine with aforesaid noise-absorbing structure and to versions of method for ensuring jet engine thermal insulation and noise reduction wherein the mentioned noise-absorbing structure is positioned adjacent to the high-temperature region of the jet engine.

EFFECT: reduction in the insulation weight of the jet engine noise-absorbing structure without compromising its thermal-insulating properties.
