FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine consists of sections each of which contains: a cylinder 1, which walls have ports cut therein to intake fuel-air mix or air 2 and release exhaust gases 3. There are opposite pistons 4 and 5 inside the cylinder that form a single combustion chamber producing movements which provide the intake of the fuel-air mix, its compression, working stroke and release of combustion products that constitute a four-stroke working cycle. The movement of the pistons along a given path is provided by a traverse mechanism.
EFFECT: increase engine speed and its power respectively.
