SUBSTANCE: housing of a filter cartridge comprises folding water-permeable top 1 and lower 2 bases and a flexible lateral surface 3. The upper 1 base and the lower 2 base and the side surface 3 are made with the possibility to pass through the storm water well hatch. The method of mounting the filter cartridge is to arrange the upper 1 base and the lower 2 base, the lateral surface 3, and a sorbent in the storm water well. Wherein the lower base 2 in the folded state is placed through the hatch into the storm water well, set up and fixed. Then, through the hatch, the side surface 3 is placed in the storm water well, arranged perpendicular to the lower base 2 along its edge, and the sorbent is poured into the formed "cup". Thereinafter, the upper base 1 in the folded state is placed in the storm well through the hatch, set up over the sorbent and fixed.

EFFECT: simplifying the installation technology due to the absence of the need to install a supporting ring and to carry out earthworks.
