FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical suturing and cutting tool contains an elongated trunk with proximal and distal ends. The distal end of the trunk has a flexible neck extending from it. A terminal actuator is located at the proximal end of the flexible neck and comprises the opposite first and second branches. Branches are made with a possibility of tissue placing between them. A cartridge containing a lot of suture staples for insertion into the tissue is attached to the first branche. The second branche contains an abutment element for staples deformation. The device also includes a remote control user interface attached to the proximal end of the extension tube.
EFFECT: interface is functionally connected to the flexible neck so that the movement of the remote control user interface is simulated by the flexible neck.
