FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of oil and gas production industry, in particular, to the technology of production of oil products by submersible pumping units in the conditions of occurrence of high-viscosity water-oil emulsions. Method for producing high-viscosity water-oil emulsions involves separation of a water-oil mixture into oil and water in the well, followed by directing to the pump suction inlet. First, the upper and lower pumps are installed in the well. Separation is carried out in a centrifugal separator to form water and oil streams. Streams are then separately directed to the suction inlet of the lower and upper pumps and then lifted to the surface. To implement the method, a plant is proposed that comprises upper and lower pumps, a tubing string, a phase separator separating the oil stream from the water stream and allowing separated streams to be supplied to the suction inlets of different pumps. Pumps are centrifugal. Water-oil separator of a vortex or centrifugal type is used as the phase separator. Separator has an outlet for the oil stream connected by a bypass pipe to the upper pump, and an outlet for the water stream connected to the lower pump. Also, discharge pipes of the lower and upper pumps are separated from each other, and the drives of each pump are independent submersible motors. Unlike the first, in the second option, the plant includes only one submersible motor with a two-way shaft output, and the lower pump is inverted.
EFFECT: proposed method allows the production of highly viscous water-oil emulsions without significant deterioration in the characteristics of the submerged plant.
