FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lining of counter-cascade drum mills is located on the inner surface of the drum and consists of the lining alternating plates and projections 1 thereon. The projections 1 are inclined to the drum axis at acute angle to form a force component during drum rotation. The force component is directed against rock pressure and grinding bodies and acts perpendicularly to the projections 1 creating counter water-and-cascade motion additional transverse and longitudinal flows of grinded material.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the grinding process.
