SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for lining drum mills and can be used in the dismantling and installation of lining plates. Method of replacing the lining in the drum mill is the hydraulic manipulator that mounted inside the mill drum is fixed to the outer flange of the mill's manhole, herewith a lifting hook or lining picking device is used to move and deliver the lining to the replacement site.
EFFECT: method allows to minimize the mill's downtime.
