FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wheel has a rim with one integral landing shelf and a removable landing shelf. The removable landing shelf has two halves that span the rim and cooperate with the groove to hold the tire. The removable landing shelf may have a second protrusion, either formed for the one, or as part of a separate holder which is bolted to the landing flange. The wheel can be made of aluminium alloy.
EFFECT: facilitation of assembly and disassembly of tires on the rim of the wheel.
