SUBSTANCE: tread pattern includes a pair of longitudinal primary grooves (15, 17) having an ondulating profile and extending in the circumferential direction of the tyre; central ground-engaging grooves (14); central blocks (21); and longitudinal secondary grooves (23), extending in the zones of the central blocks (21) and extending to the central ground-engaging grooves (14). Each of the central ground-engaging grooves (14) has two turning portions (14a, 14b) of the groove, bent to form a curved profile or a non-lineal profile. The longitudinal secondary grooves (23) extend in such a way that they are inclined relative to the direction along the circumference of the tyre. The angle (θ₄) of slope of the longitudinal secondary grooves (23) with respect to the circumferential direction of the tyre is different from the angle (θ₁) of slope of the portions of the longitudinal primary grooves (23) with respect to the direction along the circumference of the tyre.

EFFECT: increased heat resistance and resistance of the tyre to chipping.
