FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: tread pattern contains shoulder ground-engaging grooves (12A, 12B), which are open at the ends and in contact with the ground (E1, E2); central ground-engaging grooves (14), each of which has opposite ends; longitudinal primary grooves (11A, 11B), each having an undulating profile at the connecting ends of the central ground-engaging grooves (14) and at the inner ends of the shoulder ground-engaging grooves (12A, 12B) in the transverse direction of the tyre; and central blocks (20), indicated by the central grooves (14) and a pair of longitudinal primary grooves (11A, 11B). The width of the longitudinal primary grooves (11A, 11B) is less than the width of the shoulder ground-engaging grooves (12A, 12B). The central ground-engaging grooves (14) are inclined relative to the circumferential direction and the transverse direction of the tyre, and each has a third rotatable groove portion (14a) and a fourth rotational groove portion (14b) that extend in different directions in the circumferential direction of the tyre.
EFFECT: improved traction characteristics and increased wear resistance in the central zone of the tyre tread.
