FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: tread pattern includes shoulder ground-engaging grooves (10), that are open at the edges; central ground-engaging grooves (14), which havetwo ends; longitudinal primary grooves (12), each of which has an ondulating profile due to the alternate connection to the ends of the central ground-engaging grooves and the inner ends in the transverse direction of the tyre of the shoulder ground-engaging grooves; and the central blocks (16), defined by the central ground-engaging grooves and a pair of longitudinal primary grooves. The breaker (6) of the tyre includes first transverse layers (6a) of the breaker and second transverse layers (6b) of the breaker. The ratio of the width WB of the central blocks in the transverse direction of the tyre and the width W1 of the breaker from the breaker layer, having the smallest width in the transverse direction of the tyre, from the first transverse breaker layers is in the range of 0.6 to 0.9.
EFFECT: improved traction characteristics of the tyre and increased resistance to cutting.
