FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: portable manual planning device comprises the first structure to represent the central axis of the projected X-ray and the second structure to represent the cross-sectional area of the projected X-ray. The first structure is configured to be manually positioned by the user with respect to the object to be examined, and the second construction is user adjustable, so that the size and proportions of the cross-sectional area are adjustable with respect to the examined object. The current spatial position of the first structure and the current size and proportions of the cross-sectional area are detectable by the measuring device. The second structure is provided as a projection unit projecting the frame elements indicating the size and proportions of the cross-sectional area. The projection unit is provided on the planning device. The X-ray system comprises an X-ray source, an X-ray detector, a mechanized support for X-ray source and/or an X-ray detector movement, a measuring device and a control unit. A method for X-ray source and/or an X-ray detector positioning is implemented through the system.
EFFECT: improved user interface to facilitate radiographic positioning.
