FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to movement, performed by motor, in particular, to mobile X-ray systems. X-ray system contains device, which generates X-ray radiation and detector of X-ray radiation, functionally connected for obtaining X-ray images of object to be examined. X-ray system additionally contains unit of motor-assisted movement, which contains, at least, one bi-directional wheel and motor assembly, connected with it. Unit of motor-assisted movement is made with possibility of movement on surface, and bi-directional wheel is made with possibility of movement of X-ray system on surface and with possibility of rotation, at least, in first direction and, at last, in second direction, with said directions being non-parallel. Unit of motor-assisted movement is made with possibility of detecting specification of desirable movement of X-ray system relative to surface, with X-ray system being made with possibility to detect, at least, manual specification of desirable movement, provided by operator, with motor assembly being made with possibility to assist in movement of unit of motor assisted movement relative to surface in accordance with specification. Method of motor-provided movement contains stages, at which external force is manually applied to X-ray system as specification of desirable movement, which represents force, provided manually for X-ray system by operator, external force in motor assembly or motor element is detected and desirable movement is provided.

EFFECT: application of invention makes it possible to position heavy objects in specific limited spaces with high accuracy.
