GUIDE SYSTEM FOR POSITIONING PATIENT FOR MEDICAL IMAGING Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B6/04 A61B6/00

Abstract RU 2714665 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: in order to facilitate patient's positioning for obtaining medical images, a guide system is proposed. System includes a patient detection device and a device setting the patient's position. Patient detection device is configured to detect anatomical area of patient's examination to obtain images and to detect current spatial information on anatomical area of investigation. Patient position setting device is configured to output an initial target position for the detected anatomical region of analysis, wherein the initial target position is issued as a reference for obtaining images. Patient position setting device is additionally configured to align the original target position with current spatial information and determining an adapted target position by adapting the initial target position based on the current spatial information such that the adapted target position corresponds better to the current spatial information, wherein the initial target position adaptation simply refers to its subset, which is clinically irrelevant for obtaining medical images. Optionally, the patient position setting device further configured to generate the adapted target image data, and providing a display device, which is configured to display the generated image data of the adapted target position by superimposing on the anatomical region of the study as a graphic information on setting the anatomical region of the image acquisition.

EFFECT: present invention relates to a positioning direction for obtaining image data.
