FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in case of blockade of the internal fistula after sinus trabeculectomy in children with postuveal glaucoma refistulation is performed within 1-15 days after sinus trabeculectomy. First, a shock wave of defocused YAG laser radiation on the iris adhering to the internal fistula area is applied to eliminate iridotrabecular contact. The exudate from the internal fistula profile is removed. Then, using focused YAG laser radiation, the iris coloboma and the internal fistula are freed from adhesions while maintaining the anterior border layer of the iris. The defocused YAG laser action is performed with an energy in the pulse of 1-2 mJ, 2-20 pulses total. The focused YAG laser action is performed with an energy in the pulse of 1.5-5 mJ, 5-100 pulses total. If the blockade recurs, the effect is repeated.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of complications with obtaining of the most optimal reconstructive results by preventing complete cicatrization of the outflow pathways and decreasing the intensity of reactive syndrome.
