SUBSTANCE: production method comprises: reaction of methyl 2-bromo-3-hydroxypropionate with hexafluoroacetone sesquihydrate in the presence of potassium carbonate to form methyl 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-dioxolane-4-carboxylate; hydrolysis of methyl 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)-1,3-dioxolane-4-carboxylate with a methanolic solution of alkali and treatment of the produced salt with phosphorus oxychloride to produce the corresponding acid chloride; chlorination of the produced acid chloride with gaseous chlorine under UV irradiation to produce 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4,5,5-trichloro-1,3-dioxolane-4-carbonyl chloride; reaction of 2,2-bis(trifluoromethyl)-4,5,5-trichloro-1,3-dioxolane-4-carbonyl chloride with antimony trifluoride in the presence of antimony pentachloride to produce 2,2-bis (trifluoromethyl)-4,5-difluoro-5-chloro-1,3-dioxolane-4-carbonyl fluoride; interaction of the produced 2,2-bis(trifloromethyl)-4,5-difluoro-5-chloro-1,3-dioxolan-4-carbonylchloride with sodium carbonate, and selection of the target perfluoro(2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxole).
