SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to provide support for coordinated multipoint transmission (CoMP). A serving base station (BS) transmits the first permission to the user equipment (UE) to initiate the first transmission by the UE. The serving BS receives the first permission from the UE and determines that the first transmission carried out by the UE is received with an error. The serving BS transmits the second permission to the UE to initiate the implementation of the second transmission by the UE, wherein the second permission requests one of the retransmissions of the first transmission and the second transmission different from the first transmission based on the estimated probability that the payload of the CoMP received by the serving base station will provide correct decoding of the first transmission. The serving BS receives the payload of the CoMP from at least one of the mentioned interacting base station after transmitting the second permission, wherein the payload of the CoMP is calculated based on decoding the first transmission by the UE.

EFFECT: reduced load of the coordinated multipoint transmission.
