FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of checking the decoder for automatic locomotive signaling is that a sequence of test code signals is fed to the input of the on-board equipment of the automatic locomotive continuous signaling (ALCS). The nodes and elements of the decoder are determined, which are the cause of low noise stability of the work, the discrepancy of the locomotive signal to test signals containing one of the three code combinations corresponding to the green fire. The parameters of the conformity relay are checked by measuring the switching time of the locomotive traffic light from the code combination corresponding to the red light to the code combination corresponding to the red-yellow light. The counters are checked by cyclic feeding of one of the three code combinations corresponding to the red-yellow light and the yellow light, respectively. The relay check of the arrival of code combinations occurs, when one of the three code combinations is cyclically applied at the minimum permissible pulse length.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and efficiency of checking the decoder of automatic locomotive signaling.
