FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed device provides for, at least, one vertical metal module with a raw material solution connected by nozzles located in the upper and lower part with a natural circulation loop containing a heat exchanger and a bypass circuit with a device for extracting the target isotopes and radioactive waste. In the claimed blanket, aqueous solutions of the raw material are used, and a single-turn screw with a diameter equal to the inner diameter of the module is installed inside the module. In the upper part, the module is connected to a device for recombination of radiolysis products of water, and in the lower part the module is connected by a pipeline with a plug therein of a material with a melting point higher than the working temperature of the raw material solution with a drainage tank.
EFFECT: improving the processability of the device as a result of lower operating temperatures, excluding toxic and corrosive substances, improving neutron-physical characteristics through the use of non-activated structural materials.
