FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composition for the anticorrosive phosphate coatings on the steel surface formation contains, %: zinc oxide 0.8-1.0, phosphoric acid 1.84-2.0, nitric acid 0.78-0.9, cerium sulfuric acid (in terms of metal) - 0.006-0.012; hydroxylamine sulfuric acid - 0.5-1.0 and water - the rest. Phosphating of steel products, using the composition, is performed at the solution temperature of 20-30°C for 6-12 minutes, followed by the drying at the temperature of 60-160°C.
EFFECT: composition provides the phosphate coatings on the steel surface formation, with high corrosion resistance and protective ability, at that the presence of the cerium ions in the composition contributes to the formation of practically nonporous phosphate coatings on the steel surface, which prevent the water and chloride ions penetration.
