FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is preferably applied to all types of hinges requiring an action in the absence of lubricant, i.e. with self-lubricating action and acting under high loads in dynamic mode. A self-lubricating hinge element operating under high loads in dynamic mode is formed by winding of small thickness cloth in the range from 20 mcm to 150 mcm mixed with resin containing fillers to form a product homogeneous throughout its thickness, wherein said fabric being in the form of strips, having a width in the range from 5 mm to 200 mm. The strips are crossed in several layers by winding of filaments.
EFFECT: generating self-lubricating hinge made of polymer that is uniform throughout its thickness, without a reinforcing base and acting under high loads, for example, over 60 MPa, in dynamic mode.
