SUBSTANCE: projection image displaying device (1) includes a screen unit (103) that has a screen (102), a projection unit (2) that projects the image onto the screen (102) from the rear surface of the screen, a frame (101), which accommodates the projection unit (2), a retractable mechanism (10) that holds the screen assembly (103) in such a way that this screen assembly moves in a forward-backward direction, a locking mechanism (30) that restricts the movement of the retractable mechanism (10), and an adjusting mechanism (40), which has the possibility of adjusting the position of the said screen assembly (103) with respect to the carcass (101) from the outside, while the locking mechanism (30) restricts the movement of the retractable mechanism (10). The adjusting mechanism (40) adjusts the position of, at least, the locking mechanism (30), when adjusting the position of the screen assembly (103).

EFFECT: ensuring the easy adjustment of the screen node position without the need to open and close it at the same time.
