SUBSTANCE: method for coke production involves dry distillation of a mixture containing ashless coal; oxidized ash-free coal obtained by oxidation treatment of ash-free coal; and crude petroleum coke, in which relative to 100 parts by weight of total ash-free coal the oxidized ashless coal and crude petroleum coke, the content of ash coal is from 5 to 40 parts by weight, and the total content of ash coal and oxidized ash coal is from 30 to 70 parts by weight.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain high-purity coke with less cost.
