FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves opening the tungsten concentrate by autoclaving soda leaching of tungsten from a tungsten concentrate, recovering the opening reagent and returning it to the leaching stage, concentrating tungsten by ion exchange on solid anionite, desorbing to produce desorbate, and regenerating the anion exchanger. Ion exchange is carried out on anion exchanger AB-17-8 in a chloride form in two stages. In the first step, the solution after leaching is directed to the recovery of the carbonate ion into the anion exchanger phase, removing the anion exchanger from the phase into a regenerated soda solution directed to autoclave leaching. In the second stage, the carbonate-ion-depleted solution is directed to the recovery of the tungstate ion in the anion exchanger phase, with the removal from the anion exchanger phase into an aqueous solution suitable for the crystallization of ammonium paratungstate.
EFFECT: fire safety and cycle closure of the leaching reagent, production of ammonium paratungstate, purified from impurities of metals and non-metals.
