FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for processing spent catalysts on aluminium oxide supports to obtain tungsten and molybdenum compounds. Method involves annealing catalyst at 450-500 °C, its grinding to a fraction of less than 0.1 mm, soda leaching using an ultrasonic apparatus, which irradiates the pulp with frequency of 20-30 kHz with a power of at least 300 W/cm2, at temperature of 90-95 °C until the tungsten concentration in the solution stops increasing and the solution pH is adjusted to 3.0-3.5. Obtained solution is used for sorption of tungsten with a strongly basic macroporous anionite based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer with type 1 trimethylammon functional groups and sorption of molybdenum with a weakly basic macroporous anionite based on cross-linked polystyrene with functional groups of tertiary amines. Further, tungsten and molybdenum are desorbed. Desorption of tungsten is carried out with an alkali solution. Tungsten oxide is extracted from the obtained alkaline eluate. Desorption of molybdenum is carried out with ammonia solution and molybdenum oxide is extracted.
EFFECT: increased extraction of tungsten into soda solution up to 95 % and simplified processing of obtained tungsten-containing solution.
