SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a capsule (11) for containing a food ingredient, designed to be functionally inserted into the cavity of a cooking machine (1), characterized in that said capsule (11) comprises at least one resilient section (17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 31, 33, 34, 35, 38) that can be deformed when the above capsule is inserted into the machine cavity and/or when the above cavity is closed and that at least one working value of the machine data is the function of the elastic strain characteristics of the resilient section.
EFFECT: capsule improvement.
