FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, the excess pressure of gas residues from a pressure-controlled vessel is relieved by means of a pressure gauge. Thereinafter, the vessel is blown out with an inert gas. The inert gas is supplied directly or through a diffuser at a rate providing a pressure difference at the inlet and the outlet of the tank wagon vessel of not more than 0.5 kgf/cm2. The pressure of the inert gas supplied for blowing-out is maintained at a level of at least 20 kgf/cm2. Before finishing the blow-out, the operation of high-speed valves is checked by creating in the vessel an overpressure of 1.5-2 kgf/cm2. The end of the blow-out process is judged by the safe gas concentration value determined by a gas analyzer. If the safe gas concentration is exceeded, the vessel is repeatedly blown out.
EFFECT: reducing the blow-out time and reducing the inert gas consumption while maintaining the preparation quality of a railway tank wagon.
