FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of detecting low-contrast dynamic objects (LCDO) on a complex stationary and non-stationary atmospheric background in day and night conditions using an optoelectronic system (OES) for detecting airborne objects is based on wavelet-fractal-correlation processing of the rectangular-window segmentation of the image of each current two-dimensional frame, formed by OES, through the implementation of the criterion for reliable detection of the LCDO by a binary threshold detector with subsequent generation of coordinate information on the detected dynamic object for the actuators.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of detection.
