FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: built-up hyperboloid gear-cutting tool has a body and a cutting portion made of insertable gear racks inserted in grooves made on this body along the normal to the lifting angle of the main worm screw line on its initial cylinder diameter, and rotary quick-changeable cutting plates fixed on these racks and provided with profile corresponding to the profile of the rack gears. At that, to simplify the tool structure, each cutting plate is secured on the rack by means of a screw inserted from its rear side in an opening and an opening in the cutting plate, and from the front surface it is provided with a screwed nut. At that, the lower part of the plate profile is inserted by placing its lateral sides into the screw grooves corresponding to its profile and configured on the body the between comb gears, or various kinds of pins installed on the rack. The body is made hyperboloid with screw grooves or cylindrical without screw grooves or with screw grooves.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of gear wheel treatment by reduced cutting.
